In our Emerging Bay Area Designers exhibition, SFDW will highlight local rising furniture designers that make their own pieces from original concept to finished product. The event will be held at ShopFloor, a combined showroom and metal shop in the Dogpatch district, one of the few remaining manufacturing hubs of San Francisco. We’ll be featuring contemporary work by Galanter & Jones, Alexis Moran, Mike Danielson, J Liston Design, blankblank, and ShopFloor Design.

Sea Monsters is an interactive installation designed and produced by Britelite Immersive and Cibo to create a fun, accessible experience for players to simulate actions of a sea monster through motion control capabilities. Appealing to kids and adults alike, it’s a universal narrative of good against evil with a slight twist in roles. Are monsters really bad?

So come harness the power of the ocean and discover what lies beneath.
